The Galleria Borghese holds Cardinal Scipione Borghese's collection in his early-seventeenth-century villa set in Rome's largest park. It is unrivalled for the early sculpture of Gian Lorenzo Bernini and a group of paintings by Caravaggio, hung among Titian and Raphael. Timed entry keeps the rooms uncrowded.
