London
The Imperial War Museum examines conflict involving Britain and the Commonwealth from the First World War to the present, in a building that was once the Bethlem psychiatric hospital. A Spitfire and a V-2 rocket hang in the central atrium above galleries on the two world wars and the Holocaust. The museum collects art, film, and personal testimony alongside weapons and vehicles.
